Do you serve food?
Yes. We offer a selection of snacks and finger food, including chicken wings, rustic potato wedges, nachos with guacamole, tomato salsa and sweet-and-sour sauce, mozzarella sticks, among other options.
To see everything currently available, we recommend checking our Menu.
The kitchen closes daily at 01:00.
Is a purchase required?
Yes. Staying on the premises requires the use of the services and/or products available, and each person is required to make an individual purchase.
How much does it cost to play pool / snooker?
The minimum charge is €6.50 for 30 minutes.
After the first 30 minutes, additional time is charged proportionally, according to the amount shown on the table timer. You do not need to pay for another full 30-minute period.
Tables operate on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved.
Can I exchange money to use the machines?
Yes. We can exchange banknotes for coins, subject to the change available at the time.
However, we do not exchange money through card, Multibanco (MB) or other digital payments. It is not possible to make an electronic payment and receive the same amount back in cash or coins to use in the machines.
Can I reserve a pool / snooker table?
No. Pool / snooker tables cannot be reserved and operate on a first come, first served basis.
We have 7 tables available and they are in continuous use. There may be busier periods, but waiting times are usually not long.
Reservations at Tiro Taco are for seated places to watch sporting events, not for pool / snooker tables.
Do you show games that are not listed on the website?
Yes. The schedule shown on the website includes only a selection of the main sporting events.
We have access to several sports channels, allowing us to show many other games, sports and competitions.
If you cannot find the event you are looking for, use the Request a Game option and we will check whether the broadcast is available.
Can minors enter?
Yes, provided the venue’s access rules are followed.
Guests over 12 may enter when accompanied by an adult. Guests over 16 may remain in the venue unaccompanied until 22:00.
After 22:00, minors aged 12 to 17 may only remain when accompanied by their parents.
Where necessary, proof of age may be requested using a physical ID document or the gov.pt app. No other forms of identification are accepted.
Are pets allowed?
Animals are not permitted in indoor areas, with the exception of properly identified assistance dogs, in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Can I bring food or drinks from outside?
No. Food or drinks purchased outside the venue may not be consumed on the premises.
Can I take photos or record videos?
Capturing sound or images inside the venue requires prior approval from management.
If you would like to take photographs or make recordings at the venue, please speak to a member of our team first.
Is smoking allowed indoors?
No. Smoking is prohibited inside the venue, including conventional cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, heated tobacco devices and vapes.
This prohibition applies in accordance with current Portuguese legislation governing tobacco and equivalent products in enclosed public spaces. The Portuguese Directorate-General of Health also confirms that electronic cigarettes are not permitted in places where smoking is prohibited.
Are seats in the TV areas and on the terrace freely available?
Seating in the TV areas and on the terrace is exclusively for customers consuming food and/or drinks purchased at the venue.
During busy periods, there may be a maximum period without an additional order, estimated at around 30 minutes, after which the table may need to be made available to other customers.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes. There are several parking options nearby:
Largo dos Navegantes — approximately 250 metres / 3 minutes on foot. Private paid car park. It closes at 00:00 and vehicles cannot be removed after that time.
Modelo Continente car park — approximately 550 metres / 9 minutes on foot. Free parking.
Former bus terminal car park, next to the Fire Station — approximately 700 metres / 11 minutes on foot. Municipal car park, paid until 23:00.
Do you have events and themed nights?
Yes. Throughout the year we host different events and themed nights, including live music, karaoke, quiz nights and board game nights.
The programme changes throughout the year, so we recommend regularly checking our website schedule and social media channels.
Can I organise a group or event at Tiro Taco?
Yes. We welcome groups and can host different types of events, gatherings and celebrations, subject to availability and advance booking.

Can I reserve seats to watch a sporting event?
Yes. You can reserve seated places for selected sporting events, subject to availability and the conditions applicable to that event.
Reserving seats to watch a game does not mean reserving a pool / snooker table, which always operates on a first come, first served basis.
